Eden Lockhart and her brother James Lockhart wanted to take up arms in the battle between humans and titans. With one of the walls breached (wall Maria) they decided to join right away.
Unfortunately James refuses to let Eden join, he says that she's too young and fragile. Him joining the regiment and becoming one of the high ranks of the Scouts.
Eden on the side studying their actions, her knowledge of the titans climbing to its peak.
One day the scouts were assigned a mission outside the walls. Saying their goodbyes they rode on their horses with the wings of freedom on their backs. Days had passed since they left, Eden became worried until the gate to wall Rose opened.
The scouts came in with blood covering their green cloaks. Eden searched for James, but there wasn't a sign of him. One of the Captains known as Levi, gave her the bad news. Her heart shattered, Levi told her that James made him promise to take care of her.
This is where our story begins...

Falling for Short Stack
Levi and Hanji start to grow something inside of them it more than friendship Hanji knows she is slowly falling for Levi. While Levi has this new thing happening to him he thinks hes sick and doesn't want to talk to Hanji about it because it only happens when he sees her smile. But he keeps it to him self and then one day that horrible day of the day came Paper work day. They get alot of paper work that takes them 48 hours to get done then the get another 48 to rest their minds. They forced Armin, Eren, and Mikasa to come with them to help get the paper work done faster. Armin is Hanji's apprentice because he under stands what Hanji is actually saying. They stay a day then leave they went to a base out outside of the wall. Only because on that same day the codets have training and it extremely loud. So when they leave it was now the final 24 hours for their paper work. Levi had less and Hanji was over flowing with work so Levi left to go get some food. Then he came back and Hanji has ran without sleep for 40 hours but she was asleep at the table doing work. Levi picked her up and carried her to bed then next day and Hanji saw she was sleeping in ved with Levi she got up and left a note saying shes just out side doing work its a nice day to miss it. Then left when she saw the last paper she was so happy then she realize something she ran did her experiment and it was good she figured out how to ture titans into humans. She screamed out with joy and then she saw a titan back away and run a different direction she knew he was a scout and was reporting her. The finall day was over and Levi was going to confess to Hanji on the travel he was avout to say something but him and Hanji where split and he saw a titan had blood on his face he made it back to the wall he put his hands in his pocket and pulled out a note. This is the first time I've written a story like this, however I feel that I should explain some plot points since I did try to stick as close to the anime canon as possible but there are a few things I'd like to clear up first. This story starts at the fall of Wall Maria from your perspective as a young girl who lived in the Shiganshina district, I'll leave the age unspecified if I can but at the end she will definitely be over 18 years old. Then I will go into a time skip after developing the relationship between the reader and Levi as he helps the reader through their depression, I just wanted to get some background into the story first since it's important to how the reader ends up meeting Levi. Another thing I wanted to point out is that I know that the scouts didn't live in the abandoned castle until after they got Eren in the Survey Corps however I set the story there the majority of the time since I have no clue where they lived before and this is my story so I'll do what I want XD. I'm going to write for a female reader since it should be easier for me to write for this story that way, but I plan on doing more gender neutral stories in the future if this goes over well. This will only be rated 18+ near the end (Like literally only in the last chapter) as I mostly want to focus on the relationship the reader forms with Levi and I don't want my first story to be pure smut.
