This is a translation of my Urdu poem "Jawaab-e-taqdeer". At times we find ourselves baffled by life circumstances and start pondering over fate's role in our misery. During such a situation, a deep introspection lead me to question the real meaning and implications of destiny, hence resulting in the foundation of this poem. I wrote this poem and translation for the college magazine. Hope you readers enjoy it. For those who know Urdu, I have included the original poem with the translation.

Life...... Life showed me so many things..... It made me strong to fight in any kind of difficult situation... It gave me pain...anxiety...tension...tears and what not..... As we always say life is not all about sadness ...if it gives us sadness, it gives us happiness as well. The same thing happened to me too. It gave me a reason to smile...an opportunity which I will cherish for my life. But suddenly it took an unexpected twist which I never imagined in my dream as well. Destiny, sometimes referred to as fate, is a predetermined course of events. It may be conceived as a predetermined future, whether in general or of an individual. But is fate or destiny whatever we called is that simple to describe? Probably not, because we aren't capable to distinguish between fate and destiny.....it has very very thin line between them. Our own action choose our fate....our destiny. one wrong step and we left with nothing but regret. Among all, handful of people receive a second chance. Their love....their pain forced destiny to give them another chance. -------- "don't come near me, you ugly faggot" "what are you saying Win? We are boyfriends...we love each other." "Boyfriends? I rather kill myself than be your boyfriend." "Win" "I am breaking up with you V. My mom is right. You low class people always after my high-status life." What will happen, when two person who loves each other truly, manipulated by family? What will happen, when after breakup with Win, V died in a car accident along with his family, left Win nothing but regret. Why destiny was so cruel to fifteen-year-old boys? What will happen when an unexpected event occurs? What will Win do when truth behind that accident revealed? Will he ever get any love from anyone?
