The Unexpected Year

Looking up at the intricately designed building of Atlas Academy, Adrianna let out one final sigh of defeat before dragging her luggage up the front steps. She quietly mumbled to herself, " Here's to the next four years of absolute boredom and solitude."

Adrianna has always focused on her education and couldn't wait to be in college. Her dreams of dorming at a popular university with normal crowds and the basic college life were thrown out the window once her parents practically forced her to enroll at Atlas Academy. Not only was this a private University, but it was in the middle of a small town known as Newport, Arkansas. This experience will be a whole lot different than what she had always wanted, and she was prepared to be miserable. That is until she starts to get to know the campus and the people occupying it. Things are so different from what she has always known, but soon Adrianna finds herself enjoying this once dreaded school, and has even peaked the interest of Alex Wolfe. The Academy's brooding playboy, who hasn't a care in the world for anyone but the few he seems close with. Things escalate pretty quickly and Adrianna finds herself questioning everything she was so sure of before.
