"I really appreciate you letting me spend the summer at your home, with your daughter." He said softly. Gomez waved the thanks away immediately.
"Nonsense, of course you were going to come." Gomez said, jovial but firm. He'd been thrilled at the thought of Tyler staying with them, and had probably been looking forward to it for weeks, if not longer. Wednesday's phone pinged, and she looked at the screen, expecting to see a notification from Enid.
Instead, an unknown number had sent her an image of herself from the outside of the car. Wednesday leaned toward the window, looking around to try and find the source of the image, but there was no one there. Another message pinged through. I know what you've done. Weird. Tyler picked up on Wednesday's confusion and intrigue and peeked at her phone, which she angled toward him. His eyes widened and he looked up at her, asking silently if this was something they needed to worry about right now. Wednesday shook her head.
"We'll talk about it after we've settled in."
