This book is a spin off on the Stoick/Valka story.
Zaria is forced to marry a man from far away in order for their protection against unknown enemies. They build up a life together, but things are going rough. They manage to make it work and fall in love, but during a night when dragons raid the village, Zaria is taken away by a dragon.
Years pass by as Ryker and Zaria are separated, but an unexpected event is going to happen. A great war is awaiting them, but will they be able to find each other again before awful things happen to them?
Most dragons in this story are dragons out of the Rise of Berk game.
I do not own any of the characters except my OC's.

North of Nowhere
Elska Svanhild was only six when she and her parents were banished from Berk. They lived just past the village on the other side of the island as peaceful farmers. Unlike the rest of the village, her family for generations believed dragons weren't enemies-they thought they could be understood, but kept it secret as it was never a popular concept. When the chief Stoick the Vast discovered they were secretly helping wounded dragons escape, they were cast out and erased from Berk's memory. 11 years later, Elska lives deep within the Northern Wilds on a island she calls Blackscale Island. Through her journey, she befriended a dragon called Windscar. A fiercely intelligent Female nightfury she raised from a hatchling. When Hiccup Haddock crashes near her territory during a storm, Elska saves him-but remains wary. He speaks of peace between Vikings and dragons, of a new Berk. She wants to believe him. But after a decade of silence, betrayal, and survival, trust doesn't come easily.Complete

(hiccup x reader) After all this time, I still love you...
#1 hiccupxreader Warning: LEMON, also, following this story will put you in major FEELS! I didn't change Hiccup or Toothless's personally btw:) summary- You knew Hiccup since you were children. You were the next ruler in line for your Island and hiccup was next chief in line for Berk. You'd fly your dragon from your island to Berk and meet in secret with Hiccup everyday deep in the woods. You were best friends. You'd tell each other everything. Throughout your teenage years, you were an inseparable couple. Everything was magical, until one day when you were being forced to marry a selfish man who everyone thought had the power to end a war. You loved only Hiccup, a man who no body on your island knew, or would ever approve of. Your strict parents would never let you marry a Viking. So you disappeared into a new far away place with your dragon, and you were never seen again. Hiccup and (y/n), an unbreakable bond. What happens when you are reunited with Hiccup and he is the only person that you want? Is it possible to make everything go back to normal, after you abandoned everything you knew? Was the new world where you truly belong? Or is it in Hiccups arms? I guess we'll just have to wait and see... -rude language, brief sexual content, gore descriptions- (Hiccup and Astrid are not dating in this story, but the whole gang are very good friends) Also, most of the artwork in this book isn't mine, notify me if you have credit/ it's yours. Also be sure to vote and follow me for more:) #1 hiccupxreaderComplete
The Strongest of Them All
Mistreated and malnourished, little Hiccup doesn't understand why most everyone on Berk hates him. Gobber notices the abuse and steps in, but things quickly spiral out of control and the only way to keep Hiccup safe is to smuggle him off of Berk and into the hands of their allies. Hiccup is soon adopted into another tribe and grows up discovering what having a true family is like, but the past never stays in the past, as he soon discovers when Berk reaches out to the famed Dragon Master for help. Will he help the tribe who wronged him or leave them to suffer? Only time will tell. And, per usual, I don't own HTTYD or its characters.Complete

Sapphire has always been different, or rather unique. Never one for attention or making a big difference. She'd rather stay in the shadows and help without acknowledgment. She has a good reason, with a secret Berk is just not ready for, Sapphire must find who to trust. As time passes Sapphire grows into a beautiful young woman. Then, someone threatens the dragons she protects and the home she loved, Sapphire is learning just which side she's on. Movies? How To Train Your Dragon 1 (mentioned) How To Train Your Dragon 2 Cover? @DoFreeze Thanks! Sapphire and her dragon Lightning Shade belong to me. Any other added characters also belong to me. As far as Hiccup, Astrid, etc belong to DreamWorks.Complete
