The book is actually a compilation of short stories, all of horror and suspense, that are based on the author's own experiences of real life events. There is also a tale from the book called "Room 1408", where it tells the story of a haunted room, where a man decides to take it for one night, so he does and strats seeing visions of all kinds, until the man ends up having an accidnet and is taken to the hospital. Either way, he knows what he saw and happened is true. There are other stories that are also pretty good, too.All Rights Reserved
