Four Clans of cats have shared the wilderness for generations, living by a code laid down by those before them. When said code is threatened by the mysterious deaths of noble warriors, such as her littermate, Redtail, Spottedleaf's world is turned on its head.
The cats of ThunderClan, her clanmates, are in grave danger, and ShadowClan's sinister intentions grow stronger with every passing day.
The weight on her shoulders grows heavier when she is assigned to mentor a former kittypet and teach him the ways of the wild.
