In the present time, the coffin was opened by two thieves(after they drugged Hiro with sleeping pills on his cup of drink), releasing the Greeeds rampaging the area around them as they left the scene. Meanwhile, a wandering boy, named Beck Hino, who is part of Team Sonic, is working as a security guard missed out on the events that transpired, and survived the crumble as he goes back to his life, wandering after finishing one job, unaware that he is being followed by a disembodied arm.
