Then as always, he turned cold. My body was forced closer to him with his rough hands. My breath caught as fear leaked into my heart. "If you dare run away, if you dare reject me again, there will be no where for you to hide. There will be no loved one safe until I find you. And when I do you will never be free again. I will never give you another gift as I have given you now. You will always be mine and you will always do as I say. Disobey and I will make you destroy everyone's happiness that you have ever known while I watch. Then when you are finally broken I will make you mine. So I suggest you don't run away or hide because there's not an inch on this earth I will leave untouched." Every word was ice in my soul. Every word was more of a despairing truth I knew.
"Why?" I asked so quietly. I thought even the air couldn't hear me. His eyes never blinked or changed.
