Ayaka is a student in the most popular secondary school in Teyvat. It is a boarding school. Although it is a boarding school, it is extremely nice and not like what most boarding school reputation is like. It has all children from 11 to 17 but most 11-12 year olds left because of the reputation the other boarding schools gave, giving them anxiety and making them hate the school for no particular reason. So there is no 11-12 year olds.

Ayaka has only 1 friend, Yoimiya. It is their 4nd year in this school. Their last year. They have to make the most of it, I guess.
