Not many are familiar with the rape of the Sabine's. If you are not then here is a quick summary; After Romulus killed his brother Remus and created the city of Rome he invited many people. He did not care if they were free men or escaped slaves, all were welcome. However he had a problem, the majority that were coming were men. Well how do you populate a city with barely any women? Simple, steal them. Romulus invited the people of the neighboring city Sabine to a festival. He later on gave a signal and the Roman men began killing the Sabine men. After they were dead they kept the Sabine women and made them wives of the men living in Rome.

The prosperity of the Venetians and Histrians brought enormous divisions in the population. The love of money caused the wealthy Italians to drain their neighbours. The underclass, who didn't take it any longer, united in several fraternal gangs to target the rich. The murders and kidnappings increased. Only life in fortified cities was safe for the common people. During these days cargo fleets sailed into Aquileia. The ships contained envoys from Yemen, Funan and the Yamatai confederacy. In Aquileia not everyone was happy with the envoys that resided among them. The diplomats often engaged in criminal behaviour and they disregarded the boundaries of the community. When a Funan ambassador and his man violate two young girls, the civilians have enough. Assassination plots are made. And some people decide to emigrate...

The government took over completely but was quickly overrun by robots that they had created to enforce the newly created laws. As the robots continued to make more of themselves and become powerful, kids were mainly targeted as they were seen as bad to the mechanical monstrosity that was ruining the city. A teenager tried to keep most of the kids safe and hid them well, making sure they were safe with mothers and fathers who had already suffered losses of their own children being taken and enslaved. At the start of the government taking over, a group of people was forced out of the city due to their ignorance, according to the government that is. It became a comforting story to the scared kids that they'll come back and save them, told by the teenager who risks his life to save them. Remus moves in with Lily and her boyfriend Severus. James and Sirius take the mark. While Peter is left deciding what to do.
