Losing someone or something is not a choice or something it's predicted. It just happens. You cannot know when it will happen. The worst part of it all is that you can't get it back. Once it's gone, there is no turning back. You truly see how much love and appreciation it deserved, but cause you were so live careless you never gave the tendance it should have gotten. You think to yourself over and over again, where did you go wrong? If you did just one thing differently would everything change? Would the end change? Her brothers were left to take care of her and keep a roof over their heads. Everyday they struggle to take care of Abigail, while working to keep them in their home. Life for them is hard. Life for Abigail is even harder. She has a dark mind and not by choice. Somewhere along the way she's developed these feelings of loneliness and hopelessness. Everyday is a struggle for her and just getting out of bed is a success. She meets Zach, a bad boy with a bad reputation. He starts off as a tutor, just to help her out, out of pity. Everything gets hectic and Abigail doesn't know what to do with her life anymore. Or if she even wants to live.

Sometimes, life isn't all sunshine and roses. Jack and Melane are friends. Not close friends, but friends all the same. They met in college through one of his professors, but never hung out much outside of school. When they graduated, she made sure he had her number and she had his. Every other day, she'd text him and they'd talk for a bit until she had to go to work. Out of habit, he'd start texting her whenever he thought of it. There were no romantic intentions behind these messages, as he had a girlfriend already, but she lived in another country, and long distance relationships are hard. Even so, it came as a surprise to them both when Jack's girlfriend broke it off. Mel tries to be there for him, but as he starts getting more and more depressed, she develops feelings for him. Desperate to hide it, she tries to distance herself as much as she can, all the while still helping him. But it becomes clear to her that she can't hide forever, and watching the light fade from his eyes is too much for her bear... She doesn't want to admit she's falling for him- but in the end, it's exactly what Jack needs to hear.

A boy committed suicide, but before his soul moves on, he is given a chance to see what he left behind. A girl longing for true love waits for him, seeing her causes him to want to stay. Living by her side as a ghost for a few months helped her feel his love and longing until one fateful day she meets him.
