Before I get the chance to protest, he wraps his arms around my smaller frame and hugs me tight. I stiffen at the sudden feeling. I don't think I've been hugged in years, so the sensation feels both odd and unfamiliar.

What happens when the elder Calore brother is set on saving Maven from a death he himself is supposed to carry out? Will he succeed in saving his younger brother from himself, from the monster inside him who intoxicates his thoughts? How will the journey to sanity go?

Distractions such as old lovers, enemies and issues from the past resurfacing yet again. It seems that arguments, angst and passion blossoms from every corner of Mavens life.

This is a redemption arc fic for the boy who deserves one the most, Maven Calore. In this fan fiction you'll find a lot of brotherly angst and renewed trust, but also romance as this actually also is an Thomaven (Maven Calore x Thomas) slow burn fan fiction.
