The Last Knights of Cambria Book 3: Promises of Wizards
Gideon Saint is fairly certain Saxon bowmen are more agreeable than Year 10s. Life is going good, or at least okay. He's surviving British public school, newly emancipated from his parents, and in his spare time he and his Welsh friends are surviving as rebels. But they can't forever, and King Henry is proposing a bargain. In return for Gideon's help against the French, namely Joan of Arc, England will grant Wales some level of independence. But Joan of Arc is a formidable adversary, and Gideon is well aware King Henry is not to be trusted. The fate of Wales hangs in the balance. The spiders Bride (completed)
A young girl trapped in a spider's web, but she soon realizes he wants more than to just make a meal out of her. wren, is a lone witch without a coven who has been searching her whole life for a place she could belong, but during one unfortunate evening after being attacked by a cat monster she stumbles into an Arachne's den and get's caught within his web. Things don't look great for her, especially when the Arachne proclaims that he plans to use her as bait, but as past memories from her childhood rear up from the back of her mind, Wren soon comes to realize that this Arachne has other plans for her. Wren must find a way to escape or else she'll end up being devoured by the hungry spider, unfortunately for her when it comes to this mysterious Arachne she is little more than a moth and he a blazing flame. can she avoid getting burned?
