Abby has to take on her niece because her mother is addicted to drugs and abby is put in a position where she must raise her 6 year old niece ( looks like little ali from pretty little liars) Ali and maddie are best friends and ali has a few health issues too. All is working out okay when Alison's mom decides she wants alison back and the custody battle for ali begins but Alison's mom doesn't play fair.....
