When the pastors daughter Josephine who always kept to herself while going to a private catholic school, going to church with her family and following all of her parents rules finally goes into a public school, she meets the new group of girls who become her newly best friends with including meeting the brooding bad boy who pulls her through the rest of highschool with love and lies. When the anxious, new girl to the school runs into the popular boy and his friends she couldn't be more mortified. He couldn't be more godsmacked. How will they get through the challenges of their dwindling home lifes while trying to control their growing feelings for eachother.

Perhaps he will never know, but she wishes they could go back to those days, when the future seemed to be bright and there were just the two of them, and their friends, their youth, their promises. She loves him, too. But now, when happiness has faded and their promises have been broken, love seems just pointless. They don't know that love is the only thing that can save them again, as it had done once.
