Armed Research Of Paranormal Rated Objects [US.AROPRA] was founded in 1990 by United States Armed Forces. The main site is located in South Central Pennsylvania near Harrisburg, PA. The United States runs the Research Institute of Paranormal Research and, since its inception, the research on paranormal phenomena has continued. AROPRA, as the name implies, does a number of studies and paranormal activities involving paranormal phenomena.
The statement made in the fact sheet claims AROPRA is an independent organization under the United States' jurisdiction. There is no specific mention of the entity's affiliation, but the question should be asked why the United States military would be involved in researching paranormal activity. The military is supposed to be run by God-fearing people, not secular humanists. I'm not saying the Army has gone off the deep end with paranormal studies and research, but I would not be surprised to learn that some of the experiments have and that AROPRA is engaged in other operations I haven't heard of.
Now, if the name 'Army Research Office' and the term 'UFO' do not ring a bell, you probably haven't heard about the controversial Army UFO documentary. The film, released in 2007, has been the center of several investigations, including the 2008 Intelligence Report on UFOs and forgery allegations. It even appears to be a target of the NSA's program, which requires court-ordered warrants to access information.
Although the film is considered a hoax, the "blurry footage" has been put on a federal court order. UFO researchers debate that the footage is a fake film produced by a higher-up of the U.S. government. Another subject is the US Army Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS), which has the ability to create special effects like the alleged UFO. Some of these aerial drones have had many eerie encounters with UFOs and even strange things happening with the UAS pilots, indicating that drones may still need to be ready to be used on battlefields.
