Wet armor is not easy to move in. Unfortunately, Technoblade didn't come to this realization until after he'd already pulled himself onto the shore outside the prison, metal dripping and clothes sagging. He took a deep breath of relief, hugging the grass for a moment.
Until something crunched a few feet away from his head and his eyes flew open.

I understand not everyone could/would want to read this right now. It's rough. It's still rough for me, too. But one of the ways I release emotions is through writing.
I wrote this one-shot shortly after the prison break stream, way before the revengers stream. Yesterday, I went back through my DSMP one-shot doc and found this gem. It didn't need much editing, and I knew I had to post it. But rereading it...it honestly made me cry.
I don't really know what I was trying to say, I just felt like there should be an intro to this. Hope you enjoy.
P.S. If anyone saw my post on Twitter about my upload order, apologies--if any of you know me by now, schedules and orders mean nothing to me. I am chaos. /hj

What he wouldn't give to be back home again, just recording with his friends and having fun in the streams they do together or have patches curl up against his side. I did something similar to this for a German story I published like two years ago, so I figured, why not do it in English too? So here goes nothing! This will be a long one! Also, I already want to apologize for not writing the characters 'realistic' enough at some points. I mainly watch Philza and Techno, so everyone else is a bit... unknown to me?
