Universe 482 is a separate, alternative universe I created connecting both of my two favorite game series, Ori and Devil May Cry. Since this is a different universe from the original source materials, a lot of lore has been changed from characters to locations and a lot of previous characters will not be present in order to fit with the story. This fanfiction was more of a dedication to my two favorite characters, Ori and Vergil. Ori rightfully belongs to Microsoft and Devil May Cry rightfully belongs to Capcom. Universe 482 Summary:
Nibel was under attack and overrun by demons from another world after the demon lord, Raxarus, kidnapped his daughter, Sein. Nibel was left in decay and its guardian, the Spirit Tree, was dying but had enough energy to birth his last child, Ori. Ori was taken to another planet to be hidden and safe from the demon lord as Ori held some of Sein's power that Raxarus needed. Ori was dropped off to one of the sons of Sparda, Vergil, after the events of the Qliphoth on earth and coming back from hell, along with his brother, Dante. Vergil was given the responsibility to take care and raise Ori. With the help from his son, Nero, and his brother, Dante, Vergil must protect Ori as he is still being hunted by demons from the other world. Ori has yet to understand his true purpose while for Vergil, this is a start over from being a brutal, heartless demon to a caring and loving father, brother and friend.

Dante had always used the blade he was given at the tender age of eight, Rebellion... Arden never recieved the blade that should've been gifted to him, not until the brother's found a Devil wielding a weapon that could change shape on a whim... The blade instantly reacted to Arden, bestowing him with an unbreakable bond... Years passed and the brothers ound out their long lost brother was alive. Vergil was now cold, dark and full of hate... A year later when Dante opened his shop, Vergil returned, luring his brothers to the Demon Tower, Temen-Ni-Gru... This is where the brother fought, Vergil won in the end... As Arden hesitated to fight and Dante falling to save Arden from an onslaught of attacks... This conflict bore for all th brothers to unleash a Devil Within Them... Whereas Vergil turned away from his human side and Dante shuned his Demon side... Arden found peace in the acceptance of both his sides... Gaining a pure connection... V(VERGIL) X ORIGINAL CHARACTER Vergil's fall from grace has always been shrouded in mystery and even more so, his time spent as V, the physical embodiment of his humanity. Even after being reunited with him and being undyingly loved by him, Esme continues to muse about that time period amongst other mysteries. It is during Vergil's unloading, Esme is able to find what grounds her to the moment and solidify her place at his side as the strong, devoted, and loving woman she is. **This story follows Stay in the same universe. Second Son of Vergil (Discontinued)
Years after the events of DMC5, Vergil and Dante manage to escape the Underworld and seal it from anything powerful from being able to escape. The Sparda Twins make their way back to the shop, and are reunited with Nero, Trish, and Lady. Vergil sees Nero happy with Kyrie, and realizes he can't get Nero's forgiveness after what he did. So what does he do? He starts over, and finds love again. The katana wielding brother settles down with another woman, and has a second son for himself, one he will spend his time with, Y/N Sparda. However, being the Son of Sparda, there were still Demons that slipped through cracks of the Twin's Seal, and broke into the house, attacking the woman before being killed by Vergil. Heartbroken, he finds his son still alive, and in his mother's arms crying. Vergil vows to never let his son experience weakness like he did.
