Happy Birthday Grandma! For a long time I wanted to put these poems out for you. A whole poetry collection dedicated to you. You are somebody who is so generous and loving and welcoming. Knowing that you're now 73 and you are no longer with us hurts but we're happy that we had you. Each poem comes from my heart, soul, and sleepless nights of dreaming about how we lost you. I really hope that one day we'll reconnect in Heaven, but I'll continue your work down here. We love you so much.All Rights Reserved

I couldn't stop writing trying to find the perfect poems that fit this poetry collection. I continued to write without realizing how many I have actually written. She changed. She wasn't the same. Everything I once loved and knew started falling to pieces. She left me. Moved away. I didn't get to see her for 3 years. "I promise" she told me. "I'll still keep that promise!" Were her last words face to face with me. Her 16th birthday came. It was all fun and jokes, she tried her best to keep in touch with us. 6 months later... She was in the hospital. 24 months have passed... Will she ever wake up? I stayed beside her day and night. In the middle of the night... She made her choice. Everyone awoke. Now I'm standing at your grave with black and red roses in my hand. I hope you're doing fine. Forget me. Not.

Time Can't Heal This by Lauryn_Love

I've always hated the saying "Time heals all wounds." Maybe in most cases that may be true. In my experience with life and pain however, time has only ever bled out the wound. The scars that the wounds left behind though, are often so deep that just looking at them becomes painful to the mind. Time only heals what you let go of. Sometimes letting go and moving on just doesn't feel possible; no matter how much time you let pass you by. These poems signify what time hasn't healed for me.

She died the same day Zack died.. Atleast for him.. But for her.. It was the start of a new life.. A new beginning.. A new set of Memories.. But sometimes even if you already forgotten about the past. It will haunt you. It will bring you back.. To be able to remember who you were before and to never forget where it all started...

People say it will get better. But to be fair, most of them never were in your place. They say you will get happy again, but how can they know? I've struggled with trauma, mental illnesses, and self harm for many years. These are (mostly) poems - about me and my journey of getting better. ! As this is about self harm and other previously mentioned topics, it might be triggering. I don't glorify it in any way, though. I'm also not a native English speaker. Everyone's had a crush. It's a secret, painful, embarrassing, all consuming and more often than not, it's unrequited. What would happen if you took a chance and told your crush how you felt? If you had nothing to lose... •••••••••• "Yes Ally?" she heard him husk in her ear suddenly. She stiffened before forcing herself to relax and turn to face her best friend. "I didn't call you over here," she told him calmly. "I know but you were staring so hard I figured you needed something," he told her with his infuriating smirk. She smiled sweetly in return, "Now, what could I possibly want from you?" His eyes roamed over her face for a minute before his arm shot out and wrapped around her waist. She let out a surprised gasp as she suddenly found herself pressed up against him. She shivered involuntarily as she felt his breath fan her face and stiffened again as she realized how close his face was to her own. •••••••• A story about a group of friends going after the boys they've been secretly in love with for all of high school. It's the end of year senior party and it's now or never. They might not get the guy but they'll still have each other in the end.
