When he reaches California on October 30th it's the middle of the night and there are no more buses running for the night and all the hotels are closed. What will he do? Then he remembers that Sam is going to college at Stanford near where he is at the moment walking distance even. Will he trouble Sam even though they have not spoken in ages?
