Pokémon Cardinal is a storybook series on YouTube created by HoopsandHipHop, in which he describes his concept for a Canadian Pokémon game. This fanfic is my interpretation of what a Pokémon Adventures manga adaptation would be like. Much like how the YouTube series is not an actual video game, this story is only a literary version that follows the conventions of a typical pokéspe manga chapter. This is the story of a young toxtricity from Mexico city, who finds himself becoming a pokéuman and having to adjust to this strange new war-led society with all these sudden changes, yet despite it being a dream come true, is this new life truly worth living? part 1 of a two-part saga i plan on developing. this is not an original setting, this is a spin-off of an existing story from deviantart, this story as well originally published there before the inactivity of the pokéumans group, i still recommend checking said group and the original story to understand the setting since this story relies somewhat on existing worldbuilding.

The middle son; Daichi was a really strong Pokémon Trainer and is now a wonderful Pokémon Breeder. The youngest son; Takeru aims to become a Frontier Brain and become a Frontier Brain. They each traveled alone to achieve their goals. Mondo trains with Water-Types and travels to see every Pokémon Contest after becoming famous for his performances. Daichi trains with Electric-Types and travels to earn gym badges but suddenly studies to become a breeder. And Takeru trains under his brothers's teachings and aims to become stronger. [A/N: I don't own Pokémon the series, all rights go to their creator. "IN JAPAN!" Okay, people? It's obvious that Pokémon originally hails from Japan. And the Japanese WAY is much better. This story takes place in something like the Kalos region. I don't own any of the Pokémon types the characters are (make sense?). Sy is a Sylveon. She's a bully in the school she goes to (Blossom Middle School), but she only bullies to hide her sadness from losing her brother, Umby. Exdrill is a Excadrill. He is a new student at Blossom Middle School. He quickly makes a few new friends, but also quickly notices a bully who natrually hates him. Umby (um-BEE) is a Umbreon. He's Sy's sister, and misses her a lot. Unfortunately, he never gets the courage to go back. Currently, Umby lives with a friendly Yveltal (ee-VELL-tall). Yev (YEH-veh) is a Yveltal. For their type of Pokémon, he's nice. They (Yev. Yev's pronouns are they/them) live(s) on a mountain near a few other Yveltals'. The mountains all together is Yveltal Mountains. Aurora is a Azumarill. She befriended Exdrill on the first day of school. Seeing Sy bullying again in the new year, she wants to know the actual reason why Sy acts like she is by using her powers of understanding others well. Registeel is a Registeel (such a surprise!!!!!!!). They're a therapist and known well across the Kalos region. One day, Registeel gets a letter from a Yveltal saying they need help. The Yveltal lives with a "Umbreon that's depressed." Registeel goes to the place that the letter noted, but they aren't sure if the letter is true or not.
