"Well, Connor, it's nice to meet you," their smile never fades, and Connor swears there's a twinkle of something in their eye as they gaze up at him, "I like your coin tricks."
It was like his thirium pump stuttered at their words, and Connor quickly ran another diagnostic that came up with nothing, even though it felt like his systems were failing because why was he acting like this around them?
"Thanks," he managed, his grip tightening on the coin in his pocket, "Do you do any tricks with your drumstick?"
Connor finds a new interest in music after seeing a band at a bar. His infatuation with the lead singer has absolutely nothing to do with it.

You decided to move to Detroit after graduating college from the state you were born and raised in. You were pursuing your dream career and you were becoming really successful. Even though you were happy with career, you weren't happy with the fact that you were alone, meaning by love wise. You were so sad that you wanted someone to love and have them love you back, you didn't want to be alone for the rest of your life. Most of the time, you were thinking about your last relationship you had with your ex boyfriend and you never want to go back to that relationship. But then, you met Connor, you two started having feelings for each other and you were always there for each other. He promises you that he won't abandon you and that he won't let anyone hurt you. Also, Connor is already a deviant and free from CyberLife and Amanda. *Follows the storyline of Detroit: Become Human* You've been working at Detroit City Police Department for a few years, being in the police force had been you're dream job since you were a child. Currently, you investigated human crimes. Recently, you've been given the task of investigating cases involving deviant androids. The sudden change from investigating humans to androids is going to be tough to get used to, but you knew you could handle it. They also decided to partner you up with Hank Anderson, which surprised you considering he hated androids. You had nothing against androids, unlike you're partner, Hank. You had no reason to hate them, they had never done anything to wrong you. Most of them are actually quite nice, not counting the deviants. Hank had always been like a father to you, and like any other human he would easily get upset and angered, sometimes even lashing out on you. You knew that he never meant any of the harsh words, so you stuck by his side. When you were both assigned to the same investigation, you had both decided to go to the bar to celebrate. You were never supposed to exist. An RK700. An earlier model meant to do Connor's job, but scrapped before you ever got the chance to leave the assembly line. Deemed a failure. Tossed in the dump. You knew working at the DPD was risky, but passing as human and hiding in plain sight shouldn't be too hard... until CyberLife sends in a new partner. The android who replaced you. This may be written 7 years after the game's release, but I really hope all of you loyal fans are still looking for more content... My two biggest inspirations for this story: - Deviating and Solving Crime with 100% Human Detective Connor by CaotainKenway on ao3 for the whole android pretending to be a human concept. - Deviant Behaviour by Precursor - just general inspiration because it's my fave dbh fic of all time.
