|| MATURE THEMES || "And you say "Did you even notice, that I, began, to bleed?" And it all goes out of focus, and I hear you start to scream. Help me. Help me. Why won't you help me?" - flatsound - "Well I was at a friend's, and that's the only answer your going to get, so quit asking!" I snap, and he just sits there in disbelief. I not only hated when people asked questions they already know the answer to, because it seems like they're trying to be smug about it, or have some egotistical strong belief that they know everything. "Help me, help you. I don't fully understand where you're coming from, but I'd like to get your perspective on things. We're going to be around each other for awhile so just open up a bit. I know your irritated because you don't want help, but nothings wrong with at least trying to explain what's happening." I was a bit taken back with his response, it was like my heart yearned to pour out all my secrets, and the deepest darkest thoughts that I keep hidden was threatening to spill out from my mouth. "We've known each other for what? Three days? And you think we have some unbreakable bond?" My body screamed to stop, but it was like first instinct. To push the people who love me, away, and people who want to get to know me better, away. 2 years following the covid-19 lockdown, 16 year old Isabel De La Cruz feels fumbled and overwhelmed about school re-opening again. Sure, she might be attending Hollywood Performing Arts High, which is a dream come true, but daily encounters with her ex, Harry Goldwyn, is what she loathes about the situation. He's already let her down twice and she's not willing to hurt again, all for the name of love. For Harry, what once felt like home sweet home, now feels like foreign land, with the occasional hint of deja vu. He only moved back from New York in hopes of winning Isabel's heart back. What will it take for Isabel to act less harsh towards the dumbfounded boy and finally forgive him for all his wrongs he never meant to make in the first place? All Harry wants is another chance to make it up to the only girl he's ever truly ever loved. Third's the charm, but is this all too much to ask? Revolving around the fictional setting of Hollywood Performing Arts in Los Angeles, 2 teenagers and their friends stumble through what seems to be a coming of age coveted in clarity. 4 years truly is a long time for everything to change since their initial encounter. ❝ 𝙋𝙞𝙩𝙘𝙝 𝙗𝙡𝙖𝙘𝙠 𝙛𝙡𝙤𝙤𝙙 𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙨 𝙛𝙡𝙖𝙨𝙝𝙚𝙙, 𝙗𝙪𝙩 𝙄 𝙙𝙞𝙙𝙣'𝙩 𝙡𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙣. 𝙉𝙤, 𝙩𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙪𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨 𝙙𝙤𝙣'𝙩 𝙜𝙡𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙣 ❞ Hey there, it's me, Clara Salazar... again. Yep, I'm back with another songwriting era, this time a total contrast to the previous songwriting sessions of 'Faded Daydreams'. I'm personally reflecting upon the aftermath of when my ignorance was bliss, about how it all truly feels like once the daydreams fade and it turns out that it was all just Tainted Illusions to cope. Falling down from cloud 9 and into the total truth, to face a range of emotions I managed to push away and shove aside for four months. Perhaps it's time I face them in order to conclude that chapter of my life. When I found old song drafts from earlier this year, I figured that it would be cool to continue on that storyline and timeframe in order to personally put it behind once and for all. In order to step into the daylight, one must riot through the dark midst first, no matter how cloudy it gets. I'm welcoming the storm proudly :) Started: April 27th Completed: TBD

❝ 𝙛𝙖𝙙𝙚𝙙 𝙙𝙖𝙮𝙙𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙢𝙨 𝙨𝙝𝙤𝙬𝙚𝙙 𝙢𝙚 𝙖 𝙡𝙤𝙫𝙚 𝙡𝙞𝙠𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙛𝙖𝙙𝙚𝙙 𝙙𝙖𝙮𝙙𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙢𝙨 𝙗𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝𝙩 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙗𝙖𝙘𝙠 ❞ hi, it's me clara again and this time around i've decided to head forwards a new route in my songwriting- possibly a side of my songwriting you've never seen. you've probably read my heartbreak songs, and that's great, but i've moved on to a new chapter of my songwriting and there's truly nothing like this. i feel like i've begun again, but at the same time i'm going back to the basics. just know this feelings not rare, and i'm still figuring out this coming of age. it's all coming down like the aglow shore of the waterfall, whilst the moonlight reflects their light across. i'm not even trying to be poetic rn, i'm just simply referencing songs that you'll soon see and i'm so excited!! i really do hope you'll enjoy these, just like you enjoyed 'sweet misery'?! i've come a long way since then and there's so much new songs to come!
