In the year 2016, somewhere in the Alpha Centauri system, laid Proxima Centauri b, known to some as Latexia. Latexia was inhabited by 2 races: the Latexians: humanoids similar to balloons, and the Needlezoners: metallic beings who hated the Latexians. The two races lived in peace until the Great War began.
Atau Ichimonji was to be Kamen Rider Kakucho, but he was killed in battle, dooming the planet in the process. Amaya Ichimonji, having no other options, sent her son, Sasuke, into space in hopes of him remaking Latexia. Unfortunately, King Maleficus had the same idea.
Now, in the year 2020, Sasuke and a team of humans are Earth's last defense against the incoming Needlezoner army! Onwards, Kamen Rider Xpand! Save humanity!

They couldn't save those who they dearly loved, and had to watch them die?
