For as long as Jacob can remember Vincent has been the center of his universe, although Alexandria orbits around his heart as well. They're the three amigos, the three musketeers; they're the best of friends but Jacob has a secret. One that he keeps to himself and suffers through alone, he's in love with Vincent but as far as he knows Vincent is head over heels in love with Alexandria.

Every day Jacob smiles and plays his role in their trio, he's the third wheel that switches girlfriends more often than people change they're underwear. Every night he lays in his bed and cries himself to sleep, alone in a mansion. His father works around the clock and his mother searches for the perfect sunset leaving him alone in his misery.

An act of depression on Jacob's part brings everything to the surface; Vincent finally knows the truth; his first reaction is cold and born of shock and confusion. Assumption plays a huge role in the coming events, the death of a beloved friend can awaken all kinds of emotions even ones buried as deeply as they can be.
