Hello there, my name is Caitlyn McLean, and I am Chris McLean's oldest daughter. I am officially turning 19 years old soon. . . I have 2 siblings, my twin brother, Christopher McLean, and my little sister Catherine McLean. I am the odd one out of the siblings. I have vitiligo, something that no one else in my family has. This has made me very different from the rest of my family, they all had perfect tanned skin, and my siblings all had Dad's blue eyes, while I have Grandpa's brown eyes and vitiligo. My mom, ever worried about appearances, made my Aunt raised me from a very young age. Needless to say I don't call my bio mom "mom" I call her and Chris "Aunt and Uncle." Though I do not call my Aunt by her title either, we have an agreement since I was a child that I am to call her by her first name. (OC X Various story)

It was an accident...... just a small accident. I was clumsy and naughty and due to that I saw the light fade from my eyes day after day until it was dark. Now the dark and I are forever attached. I'm starting to forget my parents' faces and now I might not see them at all. ~ Maite * In a dark world she's in and a dark world she's experienced, Maite didn't think Xander would be the man to bring her a new light. With what she's already heard about him, she didn't think he'd bring even a spark at all. All she was sure of is that he'd bring fire. The fire that draws women in. He is an expert after all. She knew she had to stay away from that but after things happening, that fire felt more like a warmth keeping her intact. Keeping her from her dark, cold reality. She finally had something to lean on, to be her eyes. Little did she know that he was blinded with his own demons. In the end, a blind can't lead a blind lest they fall into a ditch. [This is the first book of a duology of 'the light'] Hope you do enjoy this little journey. It is still active and ongoing. Warning: This story contains a bit of violence, sexual content and mature language.
