A nuclear apocalypse after a terrible war renders the earth barren and void of life. A lone remnant of that war, a bio-metric wolf with metal bones beneath living flesh and skin wanders aimlessly, unsure of purpose or direction. The robotic parts are the only thing keeping it alive for its hundred year lifespan. One day it encounters something strange, something different; a human boy. The boy is unafraid of the wolf and is, in fact, excited to see it. He is looking for animals who his mother told him were ancient guardians of his people and a sign of the one thing they had been waiting so long for; life. But the boy is unaware that this wolf was an animal-like weapon used to hunt down and destroy his people and not a "real" animal at all. Together the boy and the wolf will discover what being alive truly means, and how to navigate through a world reborn in radioactive peril.

This book is about a female wolf by the name of Edma. It follows part of her life as a hunter of her pack through ups and downs, unexpectedness and battles. I'm not really good at descriptions so just read and find out.

It's the year 2047, and a virus is turning anyone it infects into rabid animals. The human race is on the brink of extinction. This is Eve's story, a woman struggling to hold onto her humanity while the virus wreaks havoc on her body. A girl escapes a lab to live in a world of secrets, mysteries and crime with a trusted friend. The two live peacefully as mercenaries, until her past catches up with her. With the police and those from the laboratory after her, the two will have to run or fight. Which one will they choose and will they find peace again?
