Y/n L/n, Pidge's best friend forever, is about to experience something out of this world: literally.
When Y/n was 11 years old, her parents went into space, leaving her in the care of Pidge's family. After a couple weeks, there was a news flash; Y/n's parents were missing in action. By that time, she had enrolled in the Galaxy Garrison and was adopted by Shiro as his little sister. The Holts were in the living room with Y/n, and she started to ask if it was true or not. Pidge noticed that Y/n was crying and immediately ran up to her and comforted her. Soon after that happened, Shiro and Pidge's brother and father were pronounced dead after going to Kerberos. When the two best friends went to the Garrison and they met their new teammates; Lance McClain and Hunk Garrett. When Lance saw Y/n, he started flirting with her, but she got fed up and smacked him. Lance noticed this and never tried to flirt with Y/n again.
Soon, the team failed a flight simulation. When Iverson started scolding them, Y/n got scared and hid behind Hunk. After the simulation, Pidge and Y/n went to the roof to listen to alien radio chatter. That night, Lance and Hunk went to the roof and saw the two with headphones and their backpacks. Little did the team know that they were going to be part of something greater than the Garrison. But Y/n soon found out that her parents were hiding something from her, as well as seeing Keith Kogane again.

He's alone again. Lance, Pidge, and Hunk are employed by the Garrison, Shiro leads missions off world, Allura and Coran are establishing a new world for the Alteans who'd survived, and the Blade don't need him. Keith works in a coffee shop and gets by the best he can, on the little money he earns. This story is loosely based on the paladins of Voltron. I have not watched all the seasons and have changed the backstory of some characters. I do not own any of the characters in this story, and I do not own any of the artwork. It's been years since the universe had seen the great Paladins of Voltron in battle. Years since those paladins have seen the lions. The universe was saved, so the lions left. Until now. The paladins are older now, and each have their own families. Hunk and Shay decided to settle down, and had a son named Erik. He looked a lot like Hunk, but was very Bulmeran. Shiro met an alien named Hel while on a special mission. The two fell in love and had a baby boy named Kade. Kade had black messy hair, and dark skin like Hel. Pidge didn't end up having any kids, but Matt on the other hand had a daughter named Evelyn. Evelyn was a lot like the siblings, with the same Gunderson charm. Lance settled down with Allura, and had a daughter named Isla. Isla looked very much like Allura, but with Lances brown hair and a strange condition with her skin tone. She ended up with a very light skin tone, due to a strange Altean occurrence. When no Altean father is present, the child takes the skin tone of the closest Altean male. Since that was Coran, Isla ended up with lighter skin, but Lance and Allura had no problems with it. Some time after Allura had passed away, Lance and Keith realized they had feelings for each other. They soon adopted a daughter named Abbey. Abbey had been through a lot regarding families, so she wasn't fond of siblings. Soon enough though, her and Isla became great friends. Even though Pidge had no children, all the kids thought of her as the cool aunt. They were all friends, and hung out quite often. This is the story of the Voltron Descendants.
