[This is an English version of my Italian story.]

Y/n Cooper is a 16 year old teenager who was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. She has never been a very talkative or extroverted girl; she loves reading, and being alone. However, her mother Evelyn died in a car accident when she was only nine years old, leaving Y/n and her father alone.
Several years after the accident Philip, Y/n's father, falls in love with a woman he met at his work, Jessica. The couple decide to live together almost immediately since Jessica was living in Atlanta, but Y/n does not seem very happy about moving to another state, especially when she has to live with three other teenagers, Jessica's children. Will Y/n be able to have a relationship with Jessica's children? After she arrives there, will she have problems living together?
