Ardonia fights its bloodiest war in history. The Voltaris strike against the other clans for the first time in 900 years. The Nether seeks vengeance against the Overworld with a gigantic siege. In the midst of it all is Thalleous Sendaris: Champion of the Ardoni, lieutenant in the Sendaria Militia, and one of the first combatants of the Great War.
As powers older than any record join the battle, Thalleous wages war not just against enemies bearing swords, but the doubts he has about rivalries older than memory and the seductive power of the Prime Songs that this war is fought for.
