        This is a novel about an investigation, where chilean author Alberto Fuguet talks about his missing uncle, who abandoned Chile, his home country, and left his entire life to live in another country. This person was living in the United States, after leaving Santiago de Chile, until one day, he decided to leave his place and issapear, since no one could find him, not even his own family. So this novel is the tale of his nephew, who's trying to find his lost uncle, and try to find out what happened to him and things about his life.
