Racing to You || Diego Lainez x Reader

Y/n is the gorgeous, kind, golden girl of NASCAR in Spain. After suffering a head injury that would require her to rethink her life and what she wants for her future, she takes a break and realizes her life is going nowhere. She decides to take an offer to race for Alpha Racing a NASCAR team in Mexico where she meets Diego Lainez. Diego is a ruthless, charismatic, and breathtaking man with a passion for Soccer.

Y/n takes an instant disliking to Diego and the violent and ruthless lengths he'll go to to get what he wants, all of which he learnt during his years in Mexico.

However, when a fellow NASCAR Driver tries take advantage of Y/n, Diego springs to the rescue. Y/n begins to notice that Diego is actually rather thoughtful at heart.

But, the pressures of Diego's job as a soccer player leave him blind to Y/n's affections and Y/n takes up some extra modeling gigs to try an distract herself.

Finally, when spiteful soccer player, Kevin Alvarez, becomes aware of their closeness he comes jealous of Diego for landing the girl of his dreams. Kevin threatens to come between them, Diego has to act fast. But will they ever find the incredible love that they deserve?
