Maeve Krane is a normal 16-year-old girl. She loves cats, reading, makeup, music, drawing - a new hobby every week, it seems. 

The only irregular thing about her?

She's bionic. 

One power-crazed billionaire with an infant daughter plus a revenge-driven technological genius - and you get Maeve. A teenager with the ability to manipulate the elements. 

When her father reveals to her that there are other bionic teens on this planet, she is sent to capture them. But as she gets to know them, she becomes less than willing to carry out the mission. A kind family, a great school, and a boy who caught her eye majorly complicate things. Will she be able to break away from her controlling father and live the life she always wanted, or will she break under the pressure?
