Akaashi and Bokuto have lost contact over the years since Akaashi graduated college. It wasn't anyone's fault. There was no bad blood or disdain between them; simply, Akaashi stayed in Tokyo where he found a career at the popular manga publisher, Ishii Yume Publishing, while Bokuto successfully found his dream in Osaka.

Five years later, Akaashi is a young adult, working hard with the occasional party with his two roommates in the city in an apartment that was perfectly situated near his work. He has no complaints about his current position in life - except maybe not being in the literature department as he wanted, but it kept him on his toes and never held a dull moment.

That is, until his life is shaken up when his boss takes up an assignment to interview some of the best volleyball players in the professional v-league.

Forced to walk down memory lane and see familiar faces, he's at a loss of what to do. Should he tell Bokuto his feelings and risk the chance of losing him again? Or should he keep them in his heart, never knowing what could be?
