Tenko Shimura was alone and scared on the streets after the accident with his family and his quirk. He basically begged for help with his eyes at anyone that walked past him and said a hero would help. What if one actually did?

Gran Torino took a different route for his patrol today. Just to make sure there wasn't another area near his home that was full of criminals or junkies looking to get high. However, he was surprised to see a young kid, around 8 years old, all battered and bruised and laying under a bridge while crying his eyes out. Torino gave the kid an offer to stay with him and, perhaps, adopt him after being told their family were dead.
Now Tenko goes by the last name of Torino after Gran Torino adopted him. He went to UA and graduated as an underground rescue hero.
