An office romance about a gruff, stuck-up advertising executive and his witty, headstrong employee. Eleanor Hanson isn't having the best time of her life. After getting humiliated by her boyfriend at a company dinner, suffering a breakup, and constantly being steamrolled at her job, she's ready to throw in the towel on adult life. That is, until her life gets turned upside down. After a major client cancels at the last minute, Eleanor is forced to attend a corporate event with Harrison Cambridge, her infuriating, brooding, and annoyingly handsome boss. When someone sees them together and gets the wrong idea, Harrison makes a proposal: start a fake romance to promote their new project and avoid a company scandal. As always, their fake relationship gets complicated quickly, and Eleanor and Harrison start to worry that they've fallen in too deep. Will they finally be honest with each other, or will they both end up heartbroken?

Rose Lovell does not have the time or the energy for a boyfriend. Her senior year is the time for fun and school and avoiding any more drama, especially after all the chaos from last year. But when her ex boyfriend pisses her off a little too much, it's time for a little revenge. Alex Finch might hate Rose's ex even more than she does. So when a plan forms to get back at him, Alex is ready to pounce on the chance. The rules are simple: pretend to date for a few months and then break up. It's all just an act after all. But what if pretending starts to get too real? Will they stick to the script or will emotions ruin everything? *finished september 30, 2025*
