Once upon a time, I was your typical good girl, doing my job like a total elf star, no complaints. Even with the little "gift" I was born with (aka my disability), I handled life pretty well. But let me tell you, luck's never been my plus-one. What am I talking about? Oh, just my lovely name-and the Christmas curse that comes with it! Every year, without fail, while my family's out decking the halls, I'm over here getting snowed under with the worst disasters. So, yeah, all I want for Christmas is for this nightmare of a season to be over. But this year? Oh, I've really hit the Christmas tree topper. Ever since I plopped myself down on Santa's lap at my office party and made a special wish, it's been one yule disaster after another! And now, I'm stuck in this sleigh ride from hell with that red-suited nightmare, forced to follow him wherever he jingles. Sure, he might be a total angel under that fake beard-mysterious and all-but I'm not about to let myself get wrapped up like some Christmas present under the tree. My brain's still in one piece, thanks. So, seriously, sweet baby Jesus, how did a nice executive assistant like me end up sleighing through this wild holiday misadventure full of danger, romance, and all the holly jolly chaos of Christmas?!Complete

Winter was not the time for everyone. Especially not for Holly, who was snowed in her college building. To her bad luck, she had decided to leave for home on the twenty-first, unlike her friends, when a snowstorm had suddenly hit town. She had cursed mother nature's name. All she had wanted to do was get home as late as possible to shorten the time she would have to spend with her mom and stepdad... but now, she would never get to her destination in time. According to the news, the snowstorm would last days, the consequences might even weeks. And being the only one in her college building could become very lonely... but maybe she wouldn't be as alone as she had expected. Dear beloved wanderer, It is with great pride and pleasure that I extend a formal invitation to you for a worldwide expedition. I plan to travel the globe over the span of a single year, you see, and I am in desperate need of company. If you accept this offer, then be aware that we shall be experiencing more celebrations than most have in their lifetime. Even though each one is merely a bite-sized sample, they pack more punch than you may be able to handle. However, I know you love a challenge, so I do hope you consider this opportunity. I would advise you dress up in comfortable garments as you dance your heart out for Cinco de Mayo, get your hands dirty while planting trees, and let the aroma of hot cocoa waft under your nose as Christmas music plays softly in the background.
