Apollo was seventeen, but he felt like he had already lived a lifetime. Dropping out of school wasn't a decision he made so much as something that just happened-one skipped class turned into weeks, and soon, there was no point in going back. The world around him felt distant, like he was watching it all through a thick pane of glass, unable to reach through. He wasn't sure if it was the drugs or something deeper inside him, but reality never felt solid. He drifted through the days, weightless and untethered, caught between craving and numbness. Silence and a cigarette-that was all he ever really needed. The quiet soothed the constant noise in his head, the feeling that something was always just slightly out of place. Smoking was the only thing that made him feel present, the burn in his throat a reminder that he was still here, still breathing. Book 3; Time to say goodbye A rather a typical love story with one big twist and an infatuated love them taking place at a rather ommious scenery. I know that I have had bad luck with guys since primary school people never took me serious enough. When my high school life started it was horrible. I met so much guys who just took my feeling for a fool and who played with them. Until I met Cameron in grade 10 he felt so different to the rest of the guys. "You don't want to get involved with me or even talk to me and that's not a threat it's a promise because everyone who does gets their hearts broken". "Well what If i want to get involved with you I'm not like everyone else". "You put up these walls to shut everyone out but maybe your just shutting yourself in from the world". "I put up these walls because people have hurt me and I'm not only putting them up to keep people out it's also to protect myself from them". "You'll have to let down your walls sooner or later Daniel you can't keep them there forever because then you'll shut your soulmate also out". "Soulmates are for people who believe in things such as love and infatuation. which are things I'm not familiar with and I also won't because those are the things that get people heartbroken". This specific infatuation does not end with a happy ending of Daniel getting the guy but he does learn so much after the aforementioned infatuation ends terribly. Fancying people is a terrible thing which Daniel is about to learn. Just from his infatuation with Cameron.
