Peter Williamson, a Spitfire pilot, is flying home injured after a dogfight when he begins to feel light-headed, and decides to bail out of his plane just as he starts to pass over the English Channel. He then wakes up in hospital, his injuries treated, and is told he is in Brighton, but soon enough he realizes he isn't where he thinks he is. Where could he be? 


 A re-written version of Roald Dahl's short story "Beware of the Dog" in a different perspective.
