A little Eevee with a lot of personality thinks she is better than all the others. However, they all end up evolving and realizing their talent, but not her. She doesn't know why and she really wants to evolve.
So she asks other Eevees who have yet to discover their talent what is happening. But there is no other Eevee like her. She feels very jealous of all the Eeveelutions.
(None of the Eevees evolved using evolution stones, they discovered a hidden talent to evolve.)
But will her greediness take her too far?
A shadow of the forest takes her into its lair and she ends up regretting being jealous and she realizes what she did wrong.
"Maybe I should have been proud of being an Eevee..."

What does it mean to be free? For Myuku Cirimei, a tortured poet Jolteon, freedom is the ability to say what he believes, to portray expression and emotion through artforms and literature, to aid and provide the world through the flourishing medium of his writing. For Kazekiri Lyzaki, a crass, rebellious Vaporeon, freedom is standing up against the forces that underpin you, carving a name for yourself despite the lineage you might be born into, and seeking the truth, free from consequence. For Kiru Kakaryko, a troubled, progressive Glaceon, freedom is unshackling yourself from your past, seeking redemption from what you have done and living in your own current state, without worry of the past's burdens and the future's mysteries. Find out how these three, and many other Eeveelutions, will etch freedom into a plagued archipelago. Also, a quick thank you to @Alonzoapodaca3938 for the cover edit, always appreciate it, mate.
