A life in The Pit is a choice

Derek enjoyed his life there, simple, easy, that is until the new MC starts trying to get comfortable around the Alpha. 

In this AU werewolves are known and werewolf fighting is a thing. Werewolves are given the choice to roam free or live a life in the Pit. To live free would be to be known as a monster or an outcast, unwanted. But those in the Pit are adored and have cheering fans. At least that's what they tell themselves.
