Amarah was raised as a living marionette by her family. For the first time, she disobey her parents who had set her up to be married to someone-no, she had been sold by her family to gain wealth and status. Amarah was determined to cancel the engagement, that's why she flees her house and travels to town. Because of her desperation, a thought suddenly pop-up in her head; a better way to cancel the engagement. Without hesitation, she grabbed a stranger and spent a steamy night with him. A few weeks later, she discovered she was pregnant on the same day her mother was planning to send her away. But Amarah is unaware that the father of the child in her womb is a demon who was sealed thousand years ago and who is now making his move to find the woman whom he slept with. Will he stay with her, despite the agreement they both made? NOTE: This is an English story.

And Jasper refuses to admit that although he's numb from the core. He wants to protect her and make sure she's okay. It's just the rules of the contract.. Right? He tries to tell himself that it's just the contract. But when Delilah is taken into the void (purgatory) and left to go insane, Jasper begins to feel things he hasn't felt in a long time.. Love?
