A half-European, half-Asian boy with a mental disability and a mental disorder, a Japanese biracial gamer, and an aspiring student got caught in the middle of a man-made zombie apocalypse. To make matters worse, one of them went missing after surviving getting killed. And also, zombies are now divided into two: smart zombies and rogue zombies.
But then, along the way, they got killed in various ways, and got revived by some mysterious force. What was that? Will they find the answer to that question? Will they survive the zombie apocalypse?
Warning: graphic violence and swearing.

In 2XXX, a virus escapes containment. Said virus corrupts youth (aged 13-18) for wanting A Peculiar bloodlust. This bloodlust doesn't turn teenagers into savages, no. It just gives a thirst to kill. Only very few can resist it. This story takes place fifty years after the governments of the world created the Darwin Initiative. An idea that allows for students to kill each other. But in the 50th year, the year this story is set, teachers can now kill students and vice versa. At the end of a year, the teams must elect their best player to fight in a battle Royale against other team representatives. The battle Royale lasts for up to five days. The survivors may graduate or pass to the next year, if they do not survive; the rest of the team will be held back. But some players, may go lone wolf. Follow Jason Walker, a young talented writer whom has advanced skill with any knife, and his comrades in their journey through the eight grade. This group's name is the Joking Corpses. The JC contain three of the best fighters in the nation. Mia Fall, an Apex Predator, Jason Walker, a Clawed Predator, And Kai Gracefield, a Wolf in sheep's clothing. The JC go through the year, encountering fewer allies than foes. Each of these foes seem to put the fear of death, into Jason and his team. Rules of the DI: 1. Students may or may not kill each other both on and off school grounds 2. Students may kill teachers and vice versa 3. Students and Teachers are only allowed weapons that the country allows 4. Back by popular request! The 2017 rough draft of The Virus Within! (Caution: Contains massive plotholes that were fixed in the polished The Virus Within Series. Grammar issues are present, particularly missing commas.) What do you do when you are one of the infected? The virus in my blood is trying to steal my humanity. It alters my very thoughts and reactions. It taunts me by tempting me with desires that it planted in my brain. These bloodthirsty desires would lead to my demise if I ever gave in. I have more in common with the zombies than with humans at this point. Even the fallen zombies accept me as one of their own. Blood is required to retain my grip on sanity, but the sweet-smelling blood from humans is a short path to madness. Human blood is to be avoided at all costs. Humankind around the world was driven close to extinction by the sudden appearance of the zombies, yet small groups of survivors constantly manage to appear and put my control to the test. -------------------------- This is a standalone zombie book. It has nothing to do with A Different Virus. I wanted to try a book with an easily irritated main character and a nutcase secondary character. This book has a slightly darker outlook at the beginning than my usual stories, but it has some humor further along.
