A half-European, half-Asian boy with a mental disability and a mental disorder, a Japanese biracial gamer, and an aspiring student got caught in the middle of a man-made zombie apocalypse. To make matters worse, one of them went missing after surviving getting killed. And also, zombies are now divided into two: smart zombies and rogue zombies.
But then, along the way, they got killed in various ways, and got revived by some mysterious force. What was that? Will they find the answer to that question? Will they survive the zombie apocalypse?

In the year 2022 a mysterious virus erupts in the city of New Yoke Town. What begins as an isolated outbreak rapidly spirals into a full-blown pre-apocalypse - buildings burn, panic spreads, and humanity is forced to reckon with a world where the living and the dead blur. The story follows multiple survivors - ordinary people thrust into extraordinary circumstances, each trying to stay alive in a world going to hell. We meet a hardened "shotgun fellow" whose past haunts him, a crewman uneasy in this new reality, and numerous others trying to adapt to chaos. As society crumbles, the infected - referred to as "turned" - become relentless predators, and survival becomes a matter of constant flight, distrust, and brutal choices. The narrative explores not just the threat of the virus, but the human cost: betrayal, the breakdown of community, and how people react when the rules no longer apply. Eventually, a powerful corporation called the Revert Corporation takes the blame for the outbreak. A "cure" emerges, but only after waves of death and suffering. In 2XXX, a virus escapes containment. Said virus corrupts youth (aged 13-18) for wanting A Peculiar bloodlust. This bloodlust doesn't turn teenagers into savages, no. It just gives a thirst to kill. Only very few can resist it. This story takes place fifty years after the governments of the world created the Darwin Initiative. An idea that allows for students to kill each other. But in the 50th year, the year this story is set, teachers can now kill students and vice versa. At the end of a year, the teams must elect their best player to fight in a battle Royale against other team representatives. The battle Royale lasts for up to five days. The survivors may graduate or pass to the next year, if they do not survive; the rest of the team will be held back. But some players, may go lone wolf. Follow Jason Walker, a young talented writer whom has advanced skill with any knife, and his comrades in their journey through the eight grade. This group's name is the Joking Corpses. The JC contain three of the best fighters in the nation. Mia Fall, an Apex Predator, Jason Walker, a Clawed Predator, And Kai Gracefield, a Wolf in sheep's clothing. The JC go through the year, encountering fewer allies than foes. Each of these foes seem to put the fear of death, into Jason and his team. Rules of the DI: 1. Students may or may not kill each other both on and off school grounds 2. Students may kill teachers and vice versa 3. Students and Teachers are only allowed weapons that the country allows 4. A Different Virus - Laura's Story
This is a second view point from my original story - A Different Virus - Heartfire. I highly advise reading the original book first. Intro: Laura was a happy child without a care in the world. She loved her parents and life was perfect. Nothing seemed like it could go wrong. People started talking about a bad flu that was spreading and sending some into a coma. Her parents grew worried and stocked the house in case of a pandemic. Months later another virus appeared. Her family was shocked when the news people started reporting that zombies were actually real and not just part of a horror movie. They were appearing in every country. Her parents reassured her that none of the zombie sightings had been anywhere close to them. Her life is turned upside down when her father ends up in hospital with the bad flu and mother exiles her upstairs for her safety. She was never allowed downstairs again. Weeks pass and the streets become deserted with the exception of the red eyed zombies that wandered around. One night she notices a swiftly moving figure with glowing blue eyes in the street below. Should she call out or remain silent?
