This was supposed to be an original story but I had no motivation on how to make the characters interesting (i suck at that) so i turned it into a fanfic😭😭 ofc its haikyuu bc its literally the only fandom with weird and creative au's (where do you guys get these ideas--) but nonetheless they're entertaining to read/watch so no complaints from me :D

A group of five decides to spend their holiday in a traditional village in Malaysia to check out the famous festival which they hold every year. In order to attend, they must stay at the village a few days before the festival opens. Seems like a normal village, but once you've looked into the village enough, you might start to wonder how you are going to survive there.

One day they get in a big argument during (y/n)'s last day of middle school. Making her have to leave to America instead of going to a school in Miyagi prefecture. The only thing is she was hoping to go to Karasuno with her boyfriend, Kageyama. So (y/n) decides to break up with him knowing she may never see him again. Little did she know she would be moving back after 2 weeks in America. That's right 2 weeks. (Y/n)'s mother realizes the mistake she made after moving so decides to move back to Miyagi prefecture. The only thing is that (y/n)'s dad is with another woman. (Y/n)'s mom is devastated but understands. She has to understand. He's a businessman so he HAS to marry someone. Once (y/n) moves back she is kinda excited but at the same time nervous. She ends up realizing that Karasuno is the closest school so she has to see Kageyama again. Once she's there she can't find him anywhere. She does find, however, her old elementary-middle school friends. Once she finds out about the volleyball club she remembers how much Kageyama loved volleyball and notices that there's an opportunity to join by becoming the assistant manager for when the 3rd year, Kiyoko Shimizu, graduates. Her friends notice her staring at the sign and get an idea to push her in the gym during a practice. That's when she saw him. She saw Kageyama. "KAGEYAMA?!" "(Y-Y/N)?!
