no one is ever truly a hero, nor is anyone a villain. it all depends on perspective. the only heroes to us are the ones who align with our own motives. one person's hero is another's villain. we don't live in a world of heroes and villains, good and evil, so why should the superheroes in a story be portrayed as anything but morally grey, like any normal human?
Villains. Heroes. Try as they might, one is always bested by the other, an endless fight without true meaning. We all have to pick our sides, but I think it's outdated. We all need to toe the line - to really satisfy our purpose. That's where I come in. Not only the undoing of villains, but the remaking of heroes. It's time for everyone to welcome a new chess piece on the board. Check mate.
