Dragons are slowly becoming extinct. A small group of people who call themselves the Dragon Restoration Organization or DRO do what they can to save the dragons by raising eggs that have either been abandoned for whatever reason or their parents have been killed. They gather a group of people together to help raise the dragons when evidence appears of a bad group appearing to take over the country using wyverns, smaller weaker cousins of dragons. Together with their bonded dragons thirteen people must band together against the threat and train when their dragons become old enough to ride. but when two of the dragons are taken for their enemies plans what will they do? will they try to rescue their dragons or will they try to stop the enemy even if it could cost their dragons their lives? These are a series of standalone chapters from my upcoming book, Nihilos Draconum: Rise of a Warrior. It goes down to how Sacreia was conceived, and what was the result of her birth. Being a half dragon, Sacreia's life is more or less filled with loneliness. People fear and loathe her for the power that slumbers within her. The Red Dragon blood within her causes Sacreia to perform violent and murderous acts as she runs simply on instinct and emotion.
