Cathy is enjoying a relaxing summer when she receives a call from Jill, a social worker whom she has worked with in the past. Jill urgently needs to find a home for a young girl called Donna who has been ostracised by her family, and she thinks Cathy is the ideal foster carer to help.

Kharissa is Irish. She got put in the foster home(same one as Nadine and Lori) because her father and 'stepmother' were on drugs and her father did things to her that she did not like and made her do things she did not like her 'stepmother' did nothing to stop it.
