Maverick, age 18, is trans and his parents abused him ever since he came out. The only person he has in his life is his boyfriend Finley. Who lives 30 minutes away. Maverick is put in the hospital after his mom tried to stab him to dead. Of course the system failed him and his mom was not charged. Ever since then he had been planning to escape that hellhole and live with Finley, away from harm.
(Also, this is my fist time writing this kind of story so I know it's not the best and I go back and fix spelling mistakes as I write :3)
