16 year old Veronica Shadows joins Wednesday on her adventures. She's different and mysterious. What secrets is she hiding and what secrets are being hidden from her?
"Luckily, we've special ordered you a uniform," Weems told them as she chuckled lightly. "Now Enid where is that roommate of yours. I was hoping both of you could take Wednesday to the registrar's office to pick it up along with her schedule and give her a tour along the way."
"Sounds like a wonderful idea Principal Weems," I said suddenly from behind her as I rematerialized myself, which caused her to jump and let out a little shout of shock.
"Veronica how many times have I told you not to do that?" Weems reprimanded me.
I just shrugged at her, "Don't remember, I've sorta lost count at this point." I then looked over at Wednesday. "Veronica Shadows at your service," I said with a dramatic bow.

No one knows the truth of the situation, the depth that lies beneath the surface. So when Wednesday gets paired with Serena for her senior year art project, she's less than happy. Enid fills her in on who even this girl is, having never seen or heard of her before. But once she knows the gossip, she's intrigued. Also a bit upset about the apparent favoritism, but mostly intrigued. Because she knows there must be something more going on. And if there's one thing Wednesday loves, it's a mystery. She's determined to discover the true nature of Serena Weems. So what happens when she does? What happens when Wednesday learns the truth behind the rumors? It's a bit more than what she bargained for, but she knows one thing. She'll stick by Serena Now & Forever.
